Wrestlers Perform Well At Glasgow Invite

Glasgow junior Jeff Gunter celebrates a hard fought win in his opening match of the Glasgow Invite.

Wrestling took center stage again last Friday as the Scotties hosted The Glasgow Invite.

Sophomore Cody King and Senior Kevin Frigon took second place in their respective weight classes. King, 13-3 at 132 pounds this season, lost in the finals to Harlem's Teague Jones. Jones finished second in the state last year in his weight class and even after losing to Jones, King looks at the positives.

"He [Jones] had second in the state last year so I don't feel too bad losing to him," said King. "It would've been better if I didn't get pinned by him."
