The Courier Printing Early For Holidays

The Courier's publication dates and office hours will change the last two weeks of the year due to the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays falling on Wednesdays, when The Courier usually comes out.

Please make note of the changes below because you won't want to miss the special issues featuring letters to Santa and New Year's resolutions from Glasgow schoolchildren, along with all the news, sports and features you're used to enjoying in The Courier.

Here's the year-end schedule:

• The Christmas issue will roll off our press Monday, Dec. 23, which means local subscribers should get it in the mail on Christmas Eve and others can pick up a copy before Christmas at stores that carry your hometown paper.

The deadline for submitting news and advertising for the Christmas issue is 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20. The Courier office will be open Sunday, Dec. 22, and closed Christmas Eve and Christmas.

• The New Year's issue will be printed, distributed and mailed to subscribers Monday, Dec. 30, again offering readers the chance to read The Courier before the holiday.

The deadline for submitting news and advertising for the New Year's issue is 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27. The Courier office will be open Sunday, Dec. 29, and closed New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Happy holidays, everybody!
