Jon Darryl King, 53, of Great Falls, Mont., died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013.
A private ceremony will be held by his family and close friends at a later date.
He was born Feb. 12, 1960, in Great Falls and raised in Nashua. After graduating from high school, he went on to serve four years in the Air Force and returned to live out his life in Great Falls.
Known as a true jack of all trades, there was not much he could not build or fix. Thoroughly passionate for the outdoors, he was an avid hunter and fisherman that never missed an opportunity to be with his loved ones in the mountains or on a lake. He loved spending time with family and close friends and was always willing to help anyone with anything he could.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Evone J. Handley, and his father, Starr G. King.
Survivors include one son, Steve King; one granddaughter, Leah King; two sisters, Sheralin Carver and Hope King; and five brothers, Alan King, Harold Higgs, George King, Brad King and William Higgs Jr.
