Runners Enjoy Lots Of Season Bests At Glasgow Invitational

The Glasgow Scotties girls cross country team took first with a score of 29 points in their host meet, the Glasgow Invitational at Fort Peck.

Emma Fewer was a tower of power for the Super Scottie XC girls in the Glasgow Invitational at Fort Peck, placing fifth with a great time of 19:55. The defending state champs won their host event by 50 points over second place Miles City.

It started out as a great morning to run, and then the wind picked up later on during the races, according to Coach Rod Karst. He also stated that he was very pleased with his runners.

“Lots of season best times,” he said.

Josey Braaten came in first in the girls' race and first for the Scotties.
