The Glasgow Scotties girls cross country team took first with a score of 29 points in their host meet, the Glasgow Invitational at Fort Peck.

It started out as a great morning to run, and then the wind picked up later on during the races, according to Coach Rod Karst. He also stated that he was very pleased with his runners.

“Lots of season best times,” he said.

Josey Braaten came in first in the girls' race and first for the Scotties.

“It was an excellent race!” she exclaimed. “Almost everyone ran their best times of the season and everyone did a really good job of pushing each other all the way to the finish.”
