Scobey, Nashua Split District 3C Meet

Nashua and Scobey swapped spots in the team scores at the District 3C Meet in Glasgow on May 8.

The Nashua boys took the top spot with 132 points, edging out Scobey’s 122. On the girls’ side, the Lady Porcupines were second, 25 points behind Scobey.

Hinsdale was third on both sides, with the Lady Raiders finishing with 98 and the boys with 78.

Bethany Lacock scored a monster 50 points for the Lady Raiders, finishing in first in all five events she competed: the 100-meter hurdles, the 300 hurdles, the triple jump, high jump and the pole vault.

On the boys’ side, Dallas Capdeville was also a one-man show, scoring 46 points with three firsts and two seconds. He scored a gold in the 110 and 300 hurdles and the pole vault and a silver in the high jump and discus.

Lane Nickels was the high-scorer for the porcupines, accumulating 36 points with three firsts and a third.

He was tops in the 800, 1,600 and the 3,200, and was third in the 300 hurdles.

Whitewater was fourth on the girls’ side with 36 points, in front of Lustre Christian, 33, Dodson, 26, and Opheim ,18. Dodson scored 63 on the boys’ side, followed by Frazer with 38, Saco with 36, Whitewater at 18, Lustre with nine and Opheim at 0.

The Eastern C Divisional is in Sidney on May 15.
