    Last week Katie Knierim and Kevin Miller donated $25,000 to the Valley County Community Pool Campaign making the total raised $2,518,028, just over the $2.5 million mark, of the $3,304,000 goal needed to build a new pool in Glasgow.     The Glasgow Kiwanis Thunder Swim Team traveled to Columbia Falls fro the 2021 State Swim meet July 31 and Aug. 1. The team returned with one state champion and a number of swimmers who cracked the top five. Combined, the boys and girls earned 249 points and placed ninth out of the 20 teams at the meet.     I am 32-years-old and a mother of one 8-year-old girl who enjoys swim team and swimming for fun. I am looking to raise money to help pay for the Valley County Community Pool. Any amount will help build a new pool. We still need an estimated $1.78 million. We do have a grant in place, but if we do not have the pool completed by 2023, we will lose the grant.     The Glasgow Kiwanis Swim Team traveled to Lewistown on July 18 and 19 where they claimed second place, behind first-place Lewistown, competing with the western teams of the eastern division.
