On Feb. 10, the Glasgow School Board met in special session to appoint a replacement for the position vacated by Nick Dirkes in December. The board, by law, is required to fill the position within 60 days. Two letters of interest were submitted, from Mike Kaiser and James Rickley. Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital hosted the 12th Sara Bell Memorial Nursing Conference at the Cottonwood Feb. 11-12. The conference was organized by FMDH Director of Nursing Brenda Koessl to honor Dr. Gordon Bell's wife Sara Bell, who passed away several years ago from inflammatory breast cancer. The Glasgow Scottie wrestlers did not disappoint at the state wrestling meet in Billings this past weekend. With just four wrestlers on the mat for Glasgow High School, the team placed 7th out of 45 total schools. In addition, all four who advanced to state placed in their weight class and each of them earned All-State honors.
