| Laurie E. Black Hoop, 53, of Poplar, Mont., died of natural causes Thursday, March 7, 2013, at her home in Lawton, Okla. She was born on Sept. 11, 1959, to Darlene Longee and Lee Black Hoop Sr. She was one of seven children. She attended school in Poplar. In 1976 she met Richard Cantrell Sr. of Poplar, and to this union three children were born, Nina N. Black Hoop, Richard R. Cantrell Jr., and Billie Jo Black Hoop. She worked at various jobs in her lifetime. She enjoyed singing church songs, reading, watching movies, listening to music, visiting her family and friends, but most of all she loved her grandkids, nephews and nieces. She never turned anyone away if they needed help or just a talk of encouragement. She loved Jesus and always encouraged her family to pray and lean on Him, no matter what the situation was. Her smile could always brighten any cloudy day, but her kind way will be missed dearly. Full Obits appear in the Glasgow Courier print edition Click Here To See More Stories Like This |
