Robert D. “Bob” Preble 1949-2013

| Robert D. “Bob” Preble, 63, of Webb City, Mo., died on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, after a battle with cancer. Memorial Services are scheduled for April 26, at the Community Building in Greensburg, Kan., at 1 p.m. with Gene Glenn of Joplin, Mo., officiating. He was born in Neodesha, Kan., on July 12, 1949. He is a former Marine and served his country honorably in the Vietnam War. He worked in the natural gas pipeline industry for 38 years. Part of this time was spent in Glasgow, where he worked for Northern Border Pipeline. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and the occasional visit to the casino. During the course of his life, he was an active leader with the Boy Scouts of America, a volunteer firefighter and a member of the VFW. Click Here To See More Stories Like This |
