Adeline Mae Oliver

Adeline Mae (Koechel) Oliver, 88, died of natural causes at the Phillips County Hospital in Malta, Mont., on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 2, at 2 p.m. at the Saco Methodist Church. Interment of cremated remains will follow at the Grandview Cemetery in Saco.

She was born in Glasgow, Mont., on Dec. 26, 1924, to George and Agnes (Adams) Koechel. She was raised in Saco and graduated in 1943, when she went to Minnesota to stay with her Grandmother Koechel and work at the First National Bank of Waseca as a secretary, when on a visit home later that year, she went to work for Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. in Saco on a temporary basis. She retired from MDU on May 30, 1986, after 43 years as the office manager. She also worked for the Gem Theater in the earlier years in the evenings and on weekends.
