Edwin Huso

Edwin Huso, 88, died on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at the Valley View Nursing Home in Glasgow, Mont.

A memorial service will be held on Memorial Day weekend. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Wolf Point.

He was born on Oct. 16, 1924, in Wolf Point, Mont., the son of Kunte and Tilda (Asbeorson) Huso. He was born and raised on a farm near Wolf Point and graduated from Wolf Point High School. He joined the U.S. Navy and served in the Asiatic Pacific Campaign during World War II. He was a motor machinist mate on PT boats.
