| The Malta M’Ettes are not accustomed to play in early Saturday games at district tournaments. The M’Ettes became acclimated quickly against Harlem as they took out their frustrations on the Lady Wildcats in a _____ blow out. Malta fell to Plentywood in a big upset yesterday and were forced to play in a loser-out game at districts for the first time in several years. They responded in kind with the dominating win over Harlem and solidified their spot in the divisional tournament as the third seed from District 2B. Malta’s Jayla Graham had a game-high 24 points and nine rebounds. Courtney Henry chipped in 12 and six in the winning effort. Harlem was led by JayCee Werk with nine points in their season finale. *Full District 2B Tournament coverage in the print edition of The Courier* Click Here To See More Stories Like This |
