In today’s second game of the District 2B girls’ basketball tournament, the fourth-seeded Wolf Point Lady Wolves were matched up against the fifth-seeded Harlem Lady Wildcats. Harlem started out fast taking an early 7-0 lead, but it was all Wolf Point after that with the Lady Wolves prevailing by a final score of 48-33.

Wolf Point had a pretty balanced scoring attack led by Sonica Archdale with 11 points, leading all scorers. Mariah Weeks had 10 and Zirahuen Hernandez chipped in eight points and eight rebounds. Stats were unavailable for Harlem at time of publishing.

Wolf Point will now move on to face the hometown Glasgow Scotties tomorrow night at 8 p.m. in a semi-final matchup. Poplar now falls into the loser-out side of the bracket playing the loser of the Malta, Plentywood game at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
