NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR OPEN CUT MINING PERMIT

Let it be known that Valley County Montana, 501 Court Square, Glasgow, Montana 59230, 406-228-6219, is making an application for an open cut mining permit with the Department of Environmental Quality, Russell Copenhaver D & T, (Surface/Gravel owner, Box 333, Glasgow, MT 59230).

The legal description for access roads and main permit area is:

 

Township 31 North, Range 37 East

Section 33: Southwest Quarter of Southwest Quarter

The coordinates for approximate center of the main permit area is latitude W48.39650, longitude W106.92960 decimal degrees.

 

Valley County intends to mine 100,000 cubic yards of gravel from 12.2 acres. It is the intent of Valley County to begin mining the gravel on September 1, 2012.
