| The 5,000-foot runway at Glasgow's Wokal Field has been repaired but never completely renovated since it was built in 1942 – until now. Air traffic has been using the secondary runway during the runway reconstruction project this summer. The ends of the main runway are now finished, and the airport must be closed for three weeks to do the intersection with the second runway. Silver Airways will suspend flights from Aug. 8 to 28. Alternate transportation to Billings is available on flights from Wolf Point. Customers holding reservations for flights to or from Glasgow during the Aug. 8-28 closure should call reservations at 406-228-8495 or 1-800-499-7450. Click Here To See More Stories Like This |
