INVITATION TO BIDDERS

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of Valley County, Montana, will receive sealed written bids at their office in the Valley County Courthouse, 501 Court Square, Glasgow, Montana 59230, until 1:30 p.m., local time, on Monday, July 30, 2012, subject to Section 7-5-2301, M.C.A., for the CRUSHING AND STOCKPILING A MINIMUM OF 100,00 YARDS OF 7/8" MINUS CRUSHIED PIT RUN AGGREGATE After this hour, no bids will be accepted.

Each bid must be signed and submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the Board of County Commissioners, 501 Court Square #1, Glasgow, Montana 59230. The envelope shall be plainly marked on the outside as a bid for gravel crushing, and the envelope must bear on the outside the bidder’s name and address. If the bid is forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the bid must be enclosed in a separate envelope addressed to the Board of County Commissioners. Bids by telephone, fax or telecommunications will not be accepted.

The material shall be produced from one crusher setup:

 

Copenhaver Pit located in Township 31 North, Range 37 East, Section 33, for a minimum of 100,000 yards.

The royalty and reclamation will be taken care of by the county.

The successful bidder will be required to comply with Montana’s contractor registration laws, Section 39-9-201, et seq., MCA.

The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, to accept any bid in whole or in part, to waive any defect or informality in any bid therein, to postpone the award of the contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsible bid which is in the best interest of Valley County.
