Application for Floodplain Permit

An application has been submitted for a floodplain permit. Valley County has filed for a floodplain permit. Valley County is seeking to replace the Canal Bridge that is a structurally deficient bridge with a new bridge.

The project proposes to replace an existing 120-foot four-span, timber and steel bridge with a 120-foot single span, prestressed, precast concrete bulb tee bridge.

The Canal Bridge is located on Canal Road and is within the SE ¼ SE ¼ Section 4, T28N, R39E, Valley County.
