Anneva Jensen

Anneva Grace (Hansen) Jensen, 83, died of natural causes on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, at the Valley View Nursing Home in Glasgow, Mont.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 1, at 10 a.m. at the Bell Chapel in Glasgow. Interment will be a private family burial.
She was born June 7, 1926, in Plentywood to Andy and Marie (Chapman) Hansen. She graduated from Wolf Point High School in 1944. On April 18, 1946, she married the love of her life, Edwin T. Jensen. They made their home in Wolf Point and owned and operated the Triangle Service and Café and Ed’s Tire Center. She also owned several small businesses, including Anneva’s Health Food Store. She  had great intellectual curiosity about life. She had a wide range of interests and hobbies, including knitting, sewing, cooking, reading, music, singing, writing, painting and raising African violets. She was a self-taught nutritionist and often shared her knowledge and abilities with others. She also enjoyed playing with her grandchildren and was the greatest grandma a kid could ask for.
Anneva was a member of Eastern Star, taught 55 Alive classes, and was a volunteer reader at Head Start.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Howard; and her son-in-law, Sonny Archdale.
Survivors include Ed, her husband of 63 years; her children, Jim Jensen and his wife, Kathie, of Glasgow, Donna Archdale of Wolf Point, Jeff Jensen and his wife, Eileen, of Idaho Falls, and Laurie Uphaus and her husband, Swede, of Malta; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Jim; and one sister, Joanne; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
