Alice (Soennichsen) Korman, 76, of Saco, Mont., died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009, of complications from diabetes at Northern Montana Hospital in Havre.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, at 2 p.m. at the Saco Lutheran Church in Saco. Interment will follow the service at Grandview Cemetery in Saco.
Alice was born Dec. 28, 1932, in Malta, to George and Anna Soennichsen. She married Ralph Korman on April 26, 1957, in Havre. She was postmaster in Saco and retired in 1992. She also served on Saco School Board and worked for the ASCS in Malta. She was active in church, taught Sunday school, was active in WELCA and Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by one son, Joel; and two brothers.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Korman, of Saco; three children, Karla Sudbrack and her husband, Phillip, of Saco, Kathy Anevski and her husband, John, of Fairfax, Va., and Jack Korman and his wife, Michelle, of Sanger, Calif.; and grandchildren, Christopher and Michael Anevski, and Jenna Korman.
Bell Mortuary of Glasgow is in charge of arrangements.
