When the football team needed it most, the Scotty defense stepped up and won the game against rival Malta. As a group, the defense forced eight turnovers in the game, including an interception for a touchdown that gave the Scotties the lead early in the game. With a lead of only six, the defense held Malta scoreless in the second half.
