NOTICE FOR COMMENT BY PRIVATE SECTOR

This is to notify all interested parties that Valley County Transit is applying for $107,000.00 through the Capital Assistance Grant and $309,793.00 under the Montana Department of Transportation’s Operating Grant Program. The funding will be used for providing transportation services to the general public, elderly, and persons with disabilities within Valley County.
The capital assistance grant is funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and administered by the Montana Department of Transportation. FTA funds will be used to purchase 1- AWD 6-passenger mini-van, 1 - 12-passenger small bus w/lift, 1 mobile two-way radio and 7 backup cameras.
The application is on file at 213 9th Street South, Glasgow, Montana. If requested, a public hearing will be held and public notice indicating the location, date, and time of the hearing will be provided.
