Pauline �Polly� Magdaline (Friedt) Cobb, 88, died of natural causes Friday, Jan 20, 2012, in a Conrad, Mont., hospital.
She was born of immigrants Alferius and Monica (Schneider) Friedt in Yucca, N.D., in 1923. She was the 11th child of a family of 15. The family moved from North Dakota to Billings, where she attended schools, graduating from Billings Public High School in 1941.
She married Richard Donald �Dick� Cobb of Windham, Mont., in 1940 at Laurel. They became the parents of six children.
She and Dick lived in Billings, Windham, Utica, Glasgow and finally Conrad, where she had made her home with their youngest son, Daniel and family, for the past four years.
She was an employee of the Glasgow school system, retiring in 1983. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed many years of winning and losing teams. She and Dick spent many weekends on Fort Peck Lake and Nelson Reservoir with friends and family.
In retirement, she became an accomplished potter and spent many hours sewing things for local craft sales. Her specialty was rag dolls, especially �Grandma� dolls.
She was employed St. Michael's as a coordinator to the home bound.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and one son, Darrell Cobb. Peace to her ashes.
Survivors include children Patricia Armstrong and her husband, Bernard, Dixie Hromcik and her husband, Joseph, Donald and Tami Green, Paula Jo Bagley-Jacobs, and Daniel and JoAnne Schrider; 22 grandchildren: Karl and Brian Armstrong; Joe, Danna and Jess Hromcik; Whitney, Courtney, Remington, Sidney, Tristen, Elexis and Ashton Cobb; Richard �Rick� and Paul Cobb; Darrell, Wade and James Bagley; and Jason, Megan, Ryan, Jordan and Kidron Cobb; and 21 great-grandchildren.
A vigil was held Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 7 p.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Conrad. The Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, Jan 25, at 11 a.m. at the church with a luncheon following the funeral.
Pondera Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Interment is to be determined at a later date.

I loved my grandmother very much and will miss her.
I haven't been around my family for some time due to addiction and incarceration.
