James Richard Elrod

1923 - 2012

James Richard Elrod, 88, of St. Marie, Mont., died in his home on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, of natural causes.

He was the son of Joseph Bean Elrod Jr. and Ruby Alice Finch. He was born Jan 19, 1923, in Americus, Ga.

No local services are planned at this time. Interment of his cremated remains will be in the Andersonville National Cemetery in Andersonville, Ga., with military honors.
