Bietz Begins Cancer Treatment

A local man was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia on Monday and started chemotherapy in Billings on Tuesday. Dustin Bietz, 30, will be in treatment in Billings for a month, according to his sister-in-law, Jordan Koski.

Bietz moved here from Beulah, N.D., in August 2010, and married Samantha Koski on Sept. 10, 2011.

An account to receive donations toward Bietz’s medical expenses has been opened at Wells Fargo Bank.
