    Take me out to the ball game! As you may or may not know, the Glasgow Reds’ American Legion Baseball program was donated 26 acres of land just west of the old BLM building (now Big Sky Auto Accessories) on Hwy. 2 for a new Legion field. The current field located at Sullivan Park has had issues with flooding, contaminated water and, many, many more problems. It is safe to say the community is due for an upgrade.     The 2014 baseball season is coming up fast with Babe Ruth and American Legion signups behind us and practices ready to start. With an astounding growth in local interest, while other Montana cities can’t field teams, we had over 50 kids sign up this year and we’re not done yet. That makes for two American Legion teams and three Babe Ruth teams. While the numbers of kids signing up is increasing, the number of fields we have to utilize isn’t quite there.
