Glasgow Middle School BUG Award Recipients

The Glasgow Kiwanis Club presented BUG (Bring Up Grades) Awards to 37 students at the Glasgow Middle School who improved grades between the second and third grading periods. They were presented with Kiwanis BUG Certificates prepared by the Chamber of Commerce, and served ice cream provided by the Kiwanis Club. Assisting were Kiwanis President Wade Sundby, Secretary Charles Wilson, Builders Club advisors Laurie Enebo and Nicole Boos and Glasgow High School Key Club students Aspen Probert, Hannah Holinde, and Kyler Whitman.

Grade six students honored were Jayden Bruce, Jorden Bruce, Wynne Green, Callen Gutow, Jeffrey Hall, Myracle Henry, Addison Hughes, Phoenix Marsh, Rylan Schultz, Rivers Sugg, Finley Tatafu, Lillian Tuttle, Hunter VanderMars and Adam Weber.

Grade seven students honored were Ellery DeDobbeleer, Dustyn Frueh, Weston Kirkland, Nikolas Kulczyk, Caeleb Messig, Siale Moala, Riley Pedersen, Marcus Seyfert, Sage Sillerud, Addison Squires, Holden Stulc and Madelynn Tatafu.

Grade eight students honored were Ian Anderson, Ryla Brown, Harlie Cooper (absent), Emerson Gutow, Joseph Hall, Tyler King, Michael Merideth, Kayliegh O'Sullivan, Laci Williams, Aaron Zoanni and Romie Zumbuhl.

Kiwanis is a worldwide service organization serving children, and BUG is one of those programs. In our community Kiwanis also supports 4-H, Scouting, Swim Team, Key Club, Builders Club, Easter Egg Hunt, and many other projects.
