For the week of Nov. 9 through 18, there were nine motor vehicle stops, seven reports of loose livestock, two reports of lost dogs and one report of a barking dog.

For the week of Nov. 20 through 26, there were three motor vehicle stops, six reports of loose livestock, three reports of a vehicle hitting a deer, one report of a dead deer on the road, two reports of a missing dog and one report of loose dogs.

Friday, Nov. 17

1749 – A female called in for her son. He hit a small deer. He doesn’t know if the deer is dead but it pushed his fender in against his tire so he assumes it is. He also can’t drive his vehicle due to the fender being pushed in like that. Reporting party said she and her husband arrived at the accident scene while they were were on the phone. At 1818, deputy advised the vehicle is driveable

1851 – Caller reported they are having a tournament at the school and the other fans are causing problems. She would like a deputy on scene. At 1900, deputy advised she spoke with the reporting party and help might be needed with crowd control. At 1924, MHP called asking what was going on in the county. Dispatch stated there was an issue but it is pretty much resolved now. He will go over and make sure people disburse like they should.

Saturday, Nov. 18

1017 – Reporting party said there were two hunters in a truck that apparently shot a deer. He stated they are watching the deer. The reporting party also stated the Corps of Engineers has signs posted about hunting in the area. At 1025, deputy stated he made contact with the reporting party.

1310 – Reporting party called and stated that last night around 1700, a female entered her vehicle and would not get out, stating she didn’t have to when the reporting party’s boyfriend told her to get out. It appears that the group of people work together and there have been some conflicts in the past. The information was passed along to the officer who will look into it. At 1342, it was reported the officer tried to get in contact with the reporting party but was not able to reach her by phone.

1607 – MHP called to report an individual is driving that has a suspended license. MHP caller kept eyes on the vehicle and reported direction of travel. MHP ended up making the stop and after-hours number for State Probation and Parole was provided.

2216 – Reporting party stated they heard a single gunshot from over toward the dumpsters. At 2223, a second caller reported the same and that her son went outside to get the dog back in just before the shot. A description of the vehicle was provided.

2316 – Caller, who wished to remain anonymous, reported a truck westbound in front of him swearing and almost went into the ditch. It then turned around and headed back towards town. At 2321, it was reported an officer patrolled out to the bowling alley and was unable to locate. At 2324, it was reported a deputy patrolled back and forth in Glasgow, and was unable to locate.

Monday, Nov. 20

1650 – Caller reported that a female broke into his house and stoke his X-Box, security camera and let his dogs out. Now she is calling/texting him stating hurtful things. He told her at the time she’s not allowed to go into this house.

1940 – Caller reported a female broke windows on his residence and stuck a garden house through the window. While on the line, she broke all of the windows on the front, including the living and laundry rooms. At 2024, reporting party called asking if he can start boarding up the windows, which the officer later agreed to.

2030 – Fish and Game stated he received a report of a moose on 8th Street North. He wanted to speak to an officer so they can decide on what to do.

Tuesday, Nov. 21

1119 – Reporting party called stating she has ran out of gas. She is almost to Glasgow but can’t see a mile marker. She has a gas can with her. It was later advised the neighbor across the way is going to bring her gas. Enough gas was put into the vehicle to get her to a gas station.

1731 – Gas station employee reported a drive off of $48. A description of the vehicle was provided as well as a license plate number.

2119 – Caller reported a pickup that was in their yard and then left. A description of the vehicle and direction of travel was provided. Deputy advised he will keep an eye out for the vehicle and has the photo of the pickup from the reporting party.

Wednesday, Nov. 22

0529 – Reporting party called and asked for an officer as someone shot the windows of his pickup.

0602 – Reporting party called and said a full round bale was in the west lane just past MM 74 and the Stockyards on the Fort Peck side. The bale is taking up the full west lane. DOT in Glasgow was left a message. The DOT in Wolf Point was also called since it’s blocking the entire lane.

0844 – MT DOT employee called to report an vehicle on its top in the ditch about 30 feet off the road. The front and back doors are open, driver’s window and passenger windows are broken out. Airbags deployed. There is no one around or in the vehicle. It was determined the accident was being investigated by PCSO and there is a tow truck en route.

1554 – A hazard was reported. Deputy advised the tire pieces are on the west side of the Highway. A message to pick up the pieces were left for MT DOT.

2025 – Caller reported he just had a strange vehicle sitting in his yard for about three minutes. The vehicle left less than five minutes ago headed east towards Frazer/Richland. A description of the vehicle was provided.

Thursday, Nov. 23

1331 – Caller reported it looks like a couple cars went off the tracks at the 4th St. crossing. He stated the crossing is blocked and it is out on the roadway. Officer was notified who advised there are cars off the tracks and into the roadway but the only thing blocked at this time is the crossing. He believes BN is already aware as it is hooked to an engine.

1620 – Reporting party stated his daughter’s car broke down and he wanted the number to a towing company. He tried to move it completely off the road but couldn’t get it out of gear. It was determined the vehicle is on the other side of the fog line and the driver didn’t think he would need traffic control.

Friday, Nov. 24

1340 – Caller reported there is a little girl in the back seat and she is not buckled in. Five minutes later, officer advised there is not a vehicle matching the description but he will patrol. At 1403, officer advised was unable to locate.

1728 – Caller reported a friend of his was about 45 minutes west of Scobey. His friend stopped alongside of the road and found a custom action hunting rifle. He said if anyone calls reporting a missing hunting rifle, they could call him and provide a description. Deputy was patched up with the caller. Deputy advised the rifle was found on Wednesday and in a few days dispatch should run the serial number to see if’s been entered.

2106 – Caller has been sitting outside of a local construction shop for three hours. He said the cage door is open and the lights are on, but there doesn’t appear to be anyone around. The caller was hoping to get in touch with the owner. At 2112, officer advised he called the reporting party who was vague about why he was trying to contact the owner. Officer tried to call the shop owner but didn’t get an answer. Officer will go out to the shop to make sure it’s locked up.

Saturday, Nov. 25

1325 – Caller reported this morning someone backed into her. Her vehicle was in park when it happened. There is not much damage to her car and there are no injuries. They both left the scene after exchanging information.

Sunday, Nov. 26

0300 – Reporting party stated a woman entered his closet through an outside door. He talked to her. She didn’t know how she got there. He gave her a couple of coats and she left, walking towards the church. An officer was contacted who will keep patrolling around to see if he can find her. At 0327, it was reported the woman was not located and no one had seen her. At 0337, after another loop patrolling the north side, Highway 2, downtown and anywhere someone could stay warm, the woman still was not located by the officer.
