GMS Cross Country Teams Run in Fort Peck

Girls Take Fourth, Boys Place Fifth

The Glasgow Middle School harriers hit the course in front of a home crowd on Saturday at Kiwanis Park in Fort Peck. The girls team placed fourth and the boys earned fifth place.

Eighth-grader Kimber Dulaney led the Scottie girls, and all runners, with her 10:10.82 run for first place. Haleigh Huntsman, seventh grade, placed fourth overall with her 10:29.48 run. Eighth-grader Josie Kemp ran an 11:26.24 to place 13th. Seventh-graders Rebekah Bailey finished in 31st and Aspen Probert in 37th with their times of 13:09.92 and 13:26.40, respectively. Caylen Jankowski, eight grade, finished in 38th place with her time of 13:27.04. Karsyn Sillerud ran a 16:34.94 to finish in 45th place.

The Scottie boys were led by seventh-grader Rowen Kloker who ran a 10:50.11 to finish in 14th place. Fellow seventh-grader Timothy Pearson finished in 15th with his 10:52.44 run. Sixth-graders Garrett Thompson finished in 17th place after running the course in 11:01.61 and Jack Milam ran a 12:28.93 for 36th place. Aaron Mickelson, sixth-grader, finished in 47th after running a 14:05.97. Alex Earll, sixth-grader, ran a 15:00.48 for 48th place.

The GMS harriers will be in Frazer this Thursday, Sept. 23 for the Frazer Invitational.
