911 Calls

There were 15 motor vehicle stops, five barking/lost/loose cat/dog calls, seven loose/dead livestock calls, two public assists, three traffic control calls, four reports for record, and one injured/dead wildlife call.

SUNDAY, JUNE 6

• 0054 – Out with a Fish and Game officer at Round House PT.

MONDAY, JUNE 7

• 1622 – Caller reported she received a call from a female who claims to be with the social security office. She claimed to the caller that her social security had been used and associated with a car rental in Texas. She further went on to state the reporting party had numerous bank accounts fraudulently opened. The car that was rented was found near a border with blood in it and possible drugs. The call came in on a local number. The reporting party stated she would not give any information until speaking to the local law enforcement and calling the local social security. The person on the other end of the line told her that if she didn't comply a sheriff would be at her house in thirty minutes to arrest her on a warrant.

• 1930 – Caller reported that his boss is threatening to beat him up and throw him off the property. He said there was an incident earlier where he took some keys out a 4-wheeler and threw them down. He said his boss shoved him to the ground when he did this. A deputy advised that he spoke with both parties. He will be en route and will let dispatch know if he needs any assistance. The deputy was out with both parties at 2118.

TUESDAY, JUNE 8

• 0855 – A male called to report that he hit a gas line with the back hoe while he was digging. The damage is by the house by the meter. Dispatch paged a deputy and the Nashua Fire Department, and contacted MDU on the emergency line. At

• 0905 they contacted the fire chief to find out if they got the page. He confirmed and stated one person was at the hall waiting for a second person to dispatch to the location. MDU called back and advised their technician would be to the scene in about five minutes or less. VCDES called back to get the location of the gas leak. The deputy advised MDU brought in a back hoe to find the line further away from the break to cap it off for now. The wind has gone down and they no longer need him there. 737 advised MDU has dismissed them and have the gas line capped off. Heading back to the station.

• 1056 – Caller wanted to let dispatch know that he is getting some threats on the phone dealing with water and irrigation. He stated that one man is upset because he is out of water. The caller states he went out yesterday and dealt with getting the water running and taken care of. He states the man's son is the one that is taking care of the irrigation for the farm. The caller wanted to have dispatch aware of the situation in case it got out of hand while he heads out to try to rectify this situation.

• 1129 – Calling party reported his son and another vehicle were in an accident. He states that the accident happened by the Campbell Lodge, but they followed the other driver who didn't stop over to the senior center. No reported injuries. Dispatch advised an officer of the reporting party's location currently.

• 1814 – Received a call. A woman started talking but dispatch lost the connection. Dispatch couldn't understand that she was saying. Checked Zuercher and found who the number belongs to. Dispatch also received an abandoned 911 call. Called the number back and received a message that the number dialed is incorrect. Caller reported a fire directly across the river from her place. She said this would be a farm in McCone County. The caller thinks it might be a hay field on fire. Another female called to report the same. She said her hired man is out there with a tractor trying to get it contained but it's large. She advised she is seeing it across the field from her house. Notified Long Run and paged Fort Peck. Also notified McCone County. At 1829 a female called and advised that she believes the fire is out and requested that dispatch cancel the fire trucks. Advised the responders of this.

• 1934 – Caller reported a possible lightning strike fire in the Larslan area. She gave the location as the east end of Baylor Road and East of Kronebusch. Possible CRP. She said it's in the boonies. Notified LRFC who requested that Opheim and Richland be dispatched. She said to let them know to tell dispatch if they need LRFD and then they will respond. Paged out. A male called to report the same fire. He said it's about 14-15 miles south of Richland.

• 2139 – Caller reported that mud is washed over US 2 by MM 585 in Roosevelt County. He said he almost hit a semi. Dispatch called Roosevelt 911 and patched them up. The dispatcher advised the caller that they already notified the highway department.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 9

• 0701 – At 0659 a male called stating someone has pulled the trees out, then threw rocks on top of them and out into the street. At 0703 the male called back stating he figured it out. He thinks lightning hit the metal pole in front of the church and blew it out. He believes this is what caused the damage. He stated to cancel the officer.

• 0833 – A female came into dispatch with a Montana ID card her husband found in the parking lot at Albertsons. An employee asked them to bring the card to dispatch. Dispatch tried calling the person on the card, no answer. An officer advised negative contact at the residence. ID was given to an administrative assistant. She will mail it to the owner.

• 1541 – The caller reported that she received a scam call. The caller wanted the last four digits of her social security number and threatened to call law enforcement if she didn't get it. She said she knew this was a scam so she didn't give them any information.

• 1623 – An officer advised this subject there is an open container law here. He will be moving on.

• 1925 – BNSF reported there were people standing on the tracks. They got off as the train got there. There's also another male standing near the tracks. Also notified RCSO. A deputy advised he told the individuals to get away from the tracks.

THURSDAY, JUNE 10

• 0838 – A female called in stating her son was transporting their green John Deere riding lawn mower from her cabin to Glasgow and somewhere he has lost the hood for it. It is an accordion type hood. He did go back and check to see if he could find it but didn't see it anywhere.

• 1601 – A man who identified himself as the mayor of Frazer said there's a girl on his property that's been banned from the reservation. He wants her removed from his property. Dispatch asked for the female's name but he didn't give it. Dispatch tried to find out what she's doing. He said she's irritating everyone. Dispatch finally got the name of the caller. He stated several times that he's the mayor of Frazer. Dispatch called Roosevelt 911 and patched them up. He apparently already reported this to them and gave them a different address. The dispatcher informed him that her officer is only a few minutes away.

• 1656 – A gas station reported a drive off. The vehicle was last seen heading westbound. She said he was having trouble paying with his credit card but she approved his card. Dispatch called her back to advise them that the subject thought he paid but will return in a half hour to settle up.

FRIDAY, JUNE 11

• 0005 – RP stated that a vehicle has been sitting at the west end of Fox Farm Road at intersection with Lindell Road. When asked, he couldn't tell what type of vehicle, all he can see are headlights. He state they have been there for about 15 minutes. RP stated he didn't believe anyone had any business being there at midnight on a Thursday night. A deputy advised the RP stated the vehicle left about a minute before he went. The deputy was unable to locate. At 0035 the deputy reported he has the vehicle in sight on Roosevelt Trail.

• 0420 – Female RP called and said there was a power pole arcing and sparking in the alley behind Gerrarde Street. During the call with the initial RP, Northwestern Energy called. Dispatch advised they were aware of the problem and was in the process of dispatching the fire department. They said they would document that dispatch was aware of the problem. Initial called back that the power pole is now beginning to fall. Called the fire chief, but ha to leave a message. Nashua fire chief said the fire is in the top of the pole at the cross piece. He said the line is not sparking but the line may come down. Dispatch advised him that Northwestern Energy were on their way and should be there in about 20 minutes. He said Nashua Fire Department was on scene and standing by.

• 0615 – Female RP called and said that a power pole by Aces & Eights is on fire. It's four poles down from Hilltop Lane toward town. Male RP called and said the power pole was on Newton Avenue. Second male RP called and said it was the main transmission line, the pole was bent over and on fire on Newton Avenue, near Aces & Eights. Fire command requested another truck to respond. Dispatch called and spoke with Northwestern Energy to report this power pole on fire and bent over. At 0815 all fire crew were clear of the power pole fire. At 0850 the fire chief called to say Nemont is up at this location doing an emergency locate and found one of the cross arms down on the ground and on fire. Requested a page for a grass rig at that location. At 0856 a firefighter asked if NWE had been notified again. The pole is smoldering and has chunks dropping to the ground. Updated NWE emergency line of the changes.

• 1943 – Female called in stating she is getting calls from a male subject who she helped out. He calls at 0300 and she has told him to stop but he won't She wants him to stop calling her, she would like an officer to call her back. An officer was given this information. An officer called her bak, apparently this was a scam caller and she was advised to block the number.

2002 – A male called about a female who is in a bar drinking and violating her conditions.

SATURDAY, JUNE 12

• 0027 – Caller reporting there has been yelling and screaming from a nearby location for two hours plus. She said she thinks the female is intoxicated and has been yelling and screaming at her kids. Per an officer, spoke with both parties and warned the individual about the noise.
