The last two Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Hunter Education courses have been set for the Glasgow area. In person courses: An in-person classroom course will take place in the evenings May 8-9, and May 15-16 from 5:15 p.m.to 8:45 p.m., with a field day on May 19. Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks’ Region 6 Citizen Advisory Council (CAC) will meet from 10 a.m. to approximately 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 29, at the Sleeping Buffalo Hot Springs meeting room. A free youth pheasant and waterfowl weekend kick-off event is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 21, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Glasgow Trap Club for any youth aged 10 and older. Parents or other mentors planning to hunt with the youth are expected to attend as well. This event is ahead of the youth pheasant and waterfowl weekend of Sept. 24-25, which is open for properly licensed youth ages 10-15.
